We are Prestige Event Company, a wedding and occasion hire company operating throughout Yorkshire and surrounding areas. Our data controller can be contacted here with any questions you may have regarding any data we hold about you.

What information do we collect?

• We collect data through our contact forms throughout our website and also directly via email if you choose to email us directly. We also collect data if you choose to use any of our services.
• We use Google Analytics throughout our website to monitor the traffic to our website and to help us provide better services. This data is completely anonymous and there is no personal or financial data collected.
• When submitting a form or contacting us with an enquiry we will ask for your name, email address, phone number (this is optional), event date, event location, type of event and any other details regarding your event so we can provide a quote or services to you.
• Personal data is never shared with 3rd parties unless it is one of our trusted partners who we use to fulfill your booking with us. Your data is used so we can correspond with you and carry out any of our services for your booking.

• We use your name, email address, address and contact number to provide our services to you and/or to reply to any enquiries you send to us.

When submitting a form on our website you consent to us receiving the data you send so that we can respond to your enquiry and if you hire any of our services we process your personal data to carry out the contract between us (Prestige Event Company) and you (the hirer).

We always treat personal data confidentially and will only share your name, email address and/or contact number to a 3rd party if they are needed to carry out your booking i.e one of our DJ's or an entertainer hired through us.

How do we secure personal data?

When submitting data via our website we have made sure our website is secured with an SSL certificate to safe guard data being sent to us.

Data is sent via email to us and is stored on our secure email servers until it is no longer needed then it is deleted.

How long do we keep your personal data for?

We keep your personal data for the length of time needed to carry out your booking, then it is deleted and/or destroyed.

Your rights in relation to personal data

Under the GDPR you have the right to request information on the personal data we hold about you, you also have the right to withdraw your consent for us to use your data so long as you have not made a booking with us, in which case once the booking has been fulfilled we will destroy and delete any personal data held on you. Any data requests can be emailed to and we will respond within 14 days.
